"Not all customer services are the same. I saw the difference when I had the chance to call Nicole at Ned Marzigliano's office, about an issue that was causing me some great concern. She was very professional, and listened to my concern attentively. "We switched to Geico after one year of working with Ned's office. We spoke to Ned once that entire time. Through that time, we must have spoken to 6 different people, so we believe turn over rate is high at this office. Our issues: - I constantly had to monitor my own policy for discrepancies (incorrect coverage, missing coverage, wrong deductibles, etc). I shouldn't have to monitor my own policy. - Often would get calls saying they're missing items, but then they'd find them, having been sent weeks prior (face palm) - Have to call two or three times because something wasn't changed on the policy (such as removing a car) - Received a random $1200 bill and I called the office asking why I received it and someone in office told me to just ignore it (um ok then) - I received a check for $1100 and deposited it. Bank sent it back for whatever reason and over a week later I receive a letter saying it was a mistake (a week later?). I called the office asking about it and they responded, 'oh, we were supposed to call you about that - it was on our list for today...' (good thing I'm monitoring my own policy - face palm). - I'd later receive a check for $3.50 (thank you!!!) - When we finally cancelled this obscene business relationship, the app reflected our policy as still active 4 business days later and we called in and were told we're fine and to ignore the app (weird). Week plus later, we are finally getting confirmation in the mail. I wonder how much the proration will be, maybe thousands lol! (sarcasm, see above) - They charge very high premiums for me to handle my own policy, meanwhile my wife and I each drive 6k miles a year. Geico is more than 30% less for the exact same coverage. Keep shopping around - you're welcome!"

Whenever we submit any policy changes, they are processed by our Underwriting department and Billing departments back to the effective date we submit so it is very common to see something for at least a few days after requesting it. With that said, your concerns are important, and I regret we didn’t meet your expectations and I didn’t have a chance to hear from you before it got to this point. My team is tenured and experienced and they strive to provide attentive and thorough service each and every single day. The insurance industry is really tough right now and I support my team and how hard they work for our insureds, but I’m disappointed to hear that you felt otherwise. Your comments will be used to improve our processes and I appreciate your feedback. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out. "I had a terrible experience. My insurance premium increased from $160 to $270 and then to $540, despite having a clean license and only driving 3,000 miles in two years. I regret not switching to a different provider sooner."
